Ready, Set, Tri: Dubai's Women-Only Triathlon Wants You on the Start Line

Entries are now open for the World Triathlon Women's Cup Dubai, and it's a big deal. It takes place at Al Mamzar Beach Park on Sunday 6 December 2026. Organised by Dubai Sports Council with World Triathlon, it's only the second Women's Cup anywhere in the world.

What makes it special? It's the only event of its kind dedicated entirely to women, so elite athletes and first-timers race at the same venue on the same day.

First, the Elite race: 750m swim, 20km bike, 5km run, with 500 Olympic Ranking points for the winner. Meanwhile, amateurs aged 18 and over can try the Sprint over the same distance.

Not ready for that? The Super Sprint (400m, 10km, 2.5km) makes a first triathlon achievable, solo or in a relay of up to three. Additionally, a separate Emirati competition rewards the top three finishers in individual and team categories.

Early bird entry runs until 13 November: AED 240 for individuals, AED 480 for relay teams. After that, prices rise to AED 300 and AED 600 from 14 November. So sign up soon!

Better still, race day follows Dubai Fitness Challenge, giving you a month to train.

The event village opens Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 December, with grandstands, music, wellness activities and food. Besides that, WTWC Talks cover nutrition, mental wellbeing and work-life balance.

Ultimately, this event builds a lasting platform for women's sport, inspiring girls and giving athletes visibility as role models. Enter at wtwcdubai.ae.

Grandma's Recipe Gets a Michelin-Star Makeover

Ariston is relaunching across the Middle East and Africa, and the news is exciting. This trusted household name has carried its Italian heritage since 1960. Now, it is stepping into a bold new era under the Beko portfolio.

The campaign rests on one simple idea: "Because grandma's recipe deserves care." That line speaks to every family that treasures its kitchen traditions.

Chef Massimo Bottura, the 3-Michelin-star Italian icon, headlines the relaunch. He champions innovation, sustainability, and uncompromising standards. Therefore, his philosophy mirrors Ariston's commitment to quality and craftsmanship.

His endorsement also highlights the high-performance power of Ariston appliances. Consequently, home cooks across the region can feel inspired every time they step into the kitchen.

Ariston draws on more than 60 years of experience to build care-led solutions. In the kitchen, ovens with AirFry deliver wholesome meals with less oil, while VitalCare and FreshShield keep food fresh.

Meanwhile, HydraDeep dishwashers tackle tough messes. Likewise, FabricCare and ColourCare protect every fiber and keep colors vibrant.

Murat Kahriman, Regional Managing Director of Beko Gulf, says Ariston is setting a new standard for modern living. After three decades in the Gulf and Levant, the brand clearly knows its customers.

Finally, a 360-degree campaign launches at the end of October 2026. Expect it across digital, social, PR, and retail touchpoints throughout the region.
