Bahrain's Gateway Gulf 2026 wrapped up with USD 22.3 billion in announcements, partnerships and deals. The fourth edition of Gateway Gulf, hosted by the Bahrain Economic Development Board (Bahrain EDB), took place at the Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay on 1–2 November.

More than 110 announcements landed across financial services, technology, logistics, aviation, energy and healthcare. Meanwhile, the theme, "Reimagining Global Partnerships, Powering Sustainable Growth," set the tone.

From the Plenary Stage to the Manama Circle signing stage, deals kept flowing. Over 75 agreements and memoranda of understanding (MoUs) were signed. Clearly, this forum focused on converting dialogue into action.

Additionally, four large-scale projects, worth USD 3.89 billion combined, received Bahrain's Golden License.

So why does the Kingdom attract so much attention? For starters, non-oil sectors contribute around 86% to GDP. Moreover, Bahrain serves as a gateway to the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

The GCC's combined economy exceeds USD 2.38 trillion. Consequently, Bahrain offers businesses a compelling base to scale across the region.

Ministers, investors and C-suite executives forged new partnerships and mobilised cross-border capital. Ultimately, Gateway Gulf keeps delivering lasting economic impact for Bahrain and beyond.
