During the Africa Energy Forum (AEF) 2026, Envision Energy dropped a major announcement with AMEA Power for the Amunet II 500MW wind project in Egypt. This deal builds directly on their successful Ras Ghareb 500MW wind farm commissioned in June 2025.
As the largest wind farm in Africa, that first project showed everyone how fast and reliable big renewable builds can happen. Now, the partnership is leveling up even more.

Amunet II marks AMEA Power’s second major wind project in Egypt, pushing their total capacity to a massive 1GW. This move supports Egypt’s clean energy goals and creates real economic wins.
