Where the Value Actually Comes From
Most of that value, AED 542.7 million, came from economic and community contributions. Meanwhile, trust-building programs added AED 62.8 million, and quality-of-life efforts brought in AED 31.7 million.
Even smaller categories like accessibility and community wellbeing chipped in millions more, showing that every initiative, big or small, adds up.
Safety and Happiness Go Hand in Hand
Here's the fascinating part: happiness and safety are statistically linked. Researchers found strong positive correlations between community programs and both the Happiness Index and perceptions of safety.
Meanwhile, crime dropped as engagement rose, with a striking negative correlation between happiness and crime rates.
Volunteers Made It Happen
Programs like Positive Spirit and Esaad reached millions, while 7,189 volunteers logged 249,916 hours, saving AED 21.7 million.
