Building Bridges to the Desert Sky: Tutor Perini's Big Saudi Win

A Landmark Contract Takes Flight

Tutor Perini Corporation just landed something big. The leading civil, building and specialty construction company announced that its subsidiary, Perini Management Services, Inc. ("PMSI"), scored a contract worth roughly $42 million. The client? The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Middle East District, Southwestern Division.

Meanwhile, the project itself centers on Tabuk Air Base in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and it's no small undertaking.

What's Actually Getting Built

So, what does the scope of work include? A helicopter maintenance hangar, a warehouse facility, and a Ground Support Equipment (GSE) facility, all designed to support the Royal Saudi Land Forces Aviation Corps.

Additionally, crews will integrate these new facilities with existing infrastructure. Think airfield pavements, lighting connections, markings, site grading, landscaping, and utility hookups.

Timeline and Financial Impact

Looking ahead, design work kicks off in September 2026. From there, substantial completion is targeted for September 2028.

Furthermore, the contract value will officially join the Company's backlog in Q3 2026, strengthening its financial outlook.

Why This Matters

Ultimately, this award showcases Tutor Perini's continued reach into international, mission-critical construction work.
