Paradise Meets Innovation: How the Trump International Hotel Maldives is Redefining Luxury & Investment

A Dream Destination, Elevated

In the heart of the Indian Ocean, shimmering turquoise waters meet pristine white sands — and now, luxury finds a new throne. **DUBAI, UAE – Dar Global **, the London-listed luxury real estate developer, and **The Trump Organization** have proudly unveiled two groundbreaking milestones: the **Trump International Hotel Maldives**, the brand’s first property in the Maldives, and the launch of the **world’s first tokenized hotel development tied to the project**.

Located just 25 minutes by speedboat from MalĂ©, this ultra-luxury escape will feature approximately 80 opulent beach and overwater villas. Designed for discerning travelers, each villa blends breathtaking natural beauty with unmatched privacy and sophistication. By the end of 2028, guests will step into a haven that redefines indulgence — where every sunrise feels like a personal masterpiece.

Where Luxury Meets Technology

Beyond the turquoise waters and fine sands lies a groundbreaking financial innovation. This collaboration is not just about building a resort — it is about **pioneering a new era in real estate investment**. Unlike traditional models that tokenize completed assets, this initiative breaks barriers by tokenizing the **development phase itself**. Investors can now become part of the journey from inception, gaining access to a high-growth, premium hospitality project from day one.

Eric Trump summed up the vision perfectly — a project that will not only **redefine luxury in the Maldives** but also set a new standard for innovation across the globe. Meanwhile, Ziad El Chaar, CEO of Dar Global, emphasized the significance: blending luxury, innovation, and technology to transform how the world invests in hospitality. This isn’t just a hotel; it’s a bold step into the future of travel and investment.

The Trump International Hotel Maldives is more than a destination — it’s a statement. It’s where paradise meets progress, and where the beauty of nature aligns with the brilliance of modern finance. As the waves lap against private villa decks, a new horizon beckons — one built on innovation, elegance, and vision.

Bridging Continents: How AD Ports Group and the EEC Are Shaping the Future of Global Trade

In the heart of **Abu Dhabi, UAE**, a powerful partnership is taking form that promises to redefine the landscape of international logistics and infrastructure. **AD Ports Group **, a leading enabler of integrated global trade, transport, and logistics solutions, has joined forces with the **Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC)**—the executive body of the **Eurasian Economic Union (EEU)**—to explore new horizons in transport, infrastructure development, and the digitalisation of logistics in the EEU region.

This collaboration, formalised by **H.E Arzybek Kozhoshev**, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure at the EEC, and **Captain Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi**, Managing Director and Group CEO of AD Ports Group, represents more than just a handshake between nations. It’s a strategic alignment built on mutual ambition and expertise. With the aim of accelerating innovation, standardising processes, and building state-of-the-art infrastructure, the partnership is a clear statement that the future of logistics is both digital and interconnected.

A Strategic Alliance with a Global Vision

When two world-class entities like AD Ports Group and the Eurasian Economic Commission come together, the results can reshape entire trade landscapes. This alliance seeks to drive not just regional growth but global connectivity. By exploring the creation of **new logistics hubs across the EEU**, the collaboration sets the stage for smoother trade flows between Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.

In addition, the agreement puts strong emphasis on **electronic documentation**, advanced digital integration, and aligning regulatory regimes—critical factors in eliminating bottlenecks in cross-border trade. This forward-looking approach will enhance efficiency, attract strategic investments, and fortify long-term supply chains. As bilateral trade between the UAE and EEU countries reached nearly **$30 billion in 2024**, marking a 27% increase from the previous year, the timing for this initiative could not be more perfect.

Expanding Horizons in Kazakhstan and Beyond

The cooperation isn’t just about vision—it is grounded in tangible projects. AD Ports Group is already making waves in **Kazakhstan and Central Asia**, developing logistics hubs along the ‘Middle Corridor’ trade route that connects China to Europe. This corridor bypasses congested traditional routes, offering faster, more flexible connectivity for regional partners.

Notably, AD Ports Group’s joint venture **GulfLink**, with Kazakhstan Railways, is driving multimodal connectivity and accelerating digital transformation across the region. The partnership with **KazMorTransFlot** further strengthens maritime operations, enabling the transport of Kazakh oil across the Caspian Sea to Azerbaijan, where it flows into western pipeline networks. Together, these projects highlight how the UAE’s leadership in logistics extends far beyond borders, serving as a vital bridge between continents.

The alliance between AD Ports Group and the EEC is not just a business deal—it’s a commitment to reshaping the infrastructure of trade in the 21st century. Leveraging expertise in terminal operations, advanced digital solutions, and sustainable maritime initiatives, this partnership underscores the UAE’s growing role as a global trade powerhouse. As these plans unfold, the world could witness a faster, more efficient, and more digitally connected logistics network, setting new standards for international cooperation.

Turning Tides: How ACCIONA’s Shuqaiq 4 Plant is Redefining Water Access in Saudi Arabia

A Wave of Transformation

In the vast and arid southwest of Saudi Arabia, the horizon now holds a shimmering beacon of hope — the Shuqaiq 4 desalination plant. ACCIONA has successfully completed the construction and commissioning of this state-of-the-art facility, marking a monumental leap in the region’s water infrastructure. With the capacity to produce 400,000 cubic meters of potable water every single day, it is poised to change countless lives.

This remarkable achievement means that more than 3.5 million people will have access to clean, safe water, drastically improving health, sanitation, and economic opportunities. The plant employs advanced Seawater Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) technology, offering maximum energy efficiency while minimizing environmental impact — a necessary balance in a world increasingly aware of its ecological footprint. From the moment water enters the system to the moment it flows from taps, every drop is a testament to innovation and sustainable vision.

Beyond Shuqaiq 4 — A Vision for the Future

Granted in 2021 to the ACCIONA-RTCC consortium by Saudi Arabia’s Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC), the project serves as a shining example of how strategic partnerships can solve pressing global challenges. But ACCIONA’s journey doesn’t end here. The company is already a linchpin in Saudi Arabia’s ongoing transformation of its water sector, actively building and operating several other facilities.

Among its impressive portfolio are Al Khobar I and II, Shuqaiq 3, and Jubail 3B, collectively raising its desalination output to more than 2.3 million cubic meters per day — enough to supply potable water to over nine million people. In the face of growing population pressures and increasingly harsh climatic conditions, ACCIONA’s work is not only vital but visionary. Step by step, plant by plant, ACCIONA is ensuring that water scarcity transforms into water security for generations to come.
