A New Star in the Saadiyat Cultural District

In the heart of **ABU DHABI, UAE**, a new cultural gem has officially arrived — the **Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi**. As the latest crown jewel of the Saadiyat Cultural District, the museum marked its much-anticipated grand opening with an exclusive VIP preview on Thursday evening. The air buzzed with excitement as global talent, cultural leaders, and distinguished guests gathered for a first look at the region’s newest landmark.
What made the evening even more glamorous was the presence of Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, who explored the grand halls with wide-eyed fascination. They walked among exhibits that transported them millions of years into the past, standing face-to-face with “Stan,” a 67-million-year-old fossilized T. rex that is considered one of the best-preserved examples ever found. The level of detail, from bone texture to the sheer size, was breathtaking.
A Journey Through Time and Wonder

Stepping inside the museum feels like stepping into another world. The galleries take visitors back millions of years, revealing a thriving ancient Arabian landscape — a green, savannah-like home to now-extinct animals, including the magnificent four-tusked elephant. Transitioning from desert modernity to prehistoric richness is seamless; the curators expertly weave storytelling into every exhibit.

One of the most jaw-dropping features is the **world’s first** display of a sauropod dinosaur herd, majestically standing in the atrium as if frozen mid-stride. Deeper inside, awe turns into pure wonder when visitors encounter another global first — two Tyrannosaurus rexes locked in a fierce battle over a Triceratops carcass. This dynamic scene is more than a fossil arrangement; it’s a dramatic retelling of an ancient predator-prey rivalry, captured in stone.

Cultural Brilliance Beyond Borders

The **Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi** is not just a museum; it’s part of a movement. Alongside iconic neighbors like the **Louvre Abu Dhabi** and **Guggenheim Abu Dhabi**, it cements Saadiyat Cultural District’s reputation as a haven for creativity and cross-disciplinary exchange. Here, science meets art and heritage, inspiring future generations to dream bigger and think deeper.

From celebrities like Steve Harvey and Adam Savage to cultural icons such as Afef Jnifen, opening night proved the museum’s appeal to a global community. It’s a place where stories from the Earth’s timeline resonate with modern minds, igniting conversations, curiosity, and admiration.

**Tip:** Book your tickets now for the museum’s official public opening on *22 November 2025*. Don’t miss your chance to witness natural history come alive at [nhmad.ae](https://nhmad.ae).

Where Innovation Meets Ambition

In the heart of **Abu Dhabi, UAE**, a wave of innovation is about to electrify the mobility sector. The **5th edition of the Electric Vehicle Innovation Summit (EVIS)** — the Middle East's premier platform advancing electric mobility — is set to return on *October 13–14, 2026* at the ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi. Organised by **Nirvana MICE**, this milestone event promises more than just a glimpse into the future of transportation; it brings a full-spectrum vision for sustainable mobility.
Adding even more value, this edition marks the debut of **EcoMobility Global (EMG)**, a co-located event broadening the spotlight from electric vehicles to universal solutions for smart, sustainable, and people-centered mobility systems. With this powerful combination, Abu Dhabi transforms into a nexus where ideas are shared, partnerships are forged, and innovation accelerates toward a cleaner future.

Transitioning seamlessly from vision to action, **His Excellency Eng. Sharif Al Olama** captured the essence of this movement, stating, *"Innovation in mobility is no longer optional — it is essential to achieving a sustainable future..."* His words resonate deeply, as they underline the UAE’s leadership role as a catalyst for global green technology adoption.

The Experience That Awaits You

With **200+ international exhibitors** and over **100 influential global speakers**, EVIS and EMG promise an immersive journey through cutting-edge innovations. Visitors will explore dedicated zones such as **hydrogen mobility**, the **circular economy**, and **green infrastructure**, all woven together to showcase tangible pathways toward Net Zero mobility.

The event’s **Innovation Hub** will be a playground for creative solutions, while the **Net Zero Stage** transforms conversation into collaboration. This dual platform bridges policymakers, investors, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and energy leaders — building a unified ecosystem to advance clean mobility technologies not just in the UAE, but worldwide.

**Eng. Naser Ali Al Bahri**, CEO of Nirvana MICE, proudly affirms, *"EVIS has become the trusted platform connecting technology, policy, and investment. With the addition of EcoMobility Global, we're creating a holistic environment for every sector driving the clean mobility revolution."*

Why This Matters

Abu Dhabi’s leadership in sustainability is no coincidence — it is the result of a strategic vision, supported by the UAE’s **Net Zero 2050** roadmap. Events like EVIS and EMG are more than industry gatherings; they are catalysts for innovation, collaboration, and tangible progress in the global mobility landscape.

From electric to hydrogen, from infrastructure to smart systems, the future is being designed here. And on October 13–14, 2026, the world will meet in **Abu Dhabi** to witness how bold ideas become real-world solutions.

This collaboration, formalised by **H.E Arzybek Kozhoshev**, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure at the EEC, and **Captain Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi**, Managing Director and Group CEO of AD Ports Group, represents more than just a handshake between nations. It’s a strategic alignment built on mutual ambition and expertise. With the aim of accelerating innovation, standardising processes, and building state-of-the-art infrastructure, the partnership is a clear statement that the future of logistics is both digital and interconnected.

A Strategic Alliance with a Global Vision

When two world-class entities like AD Ports Group and the Eurasian Economic Commission come together, the results can reshape entire trade landscapes. This alliance seeks to drive not just regional growth but global connectivity. By exploring the creation of **new logistics hubs across the EEU**, the collaboration sets the stage for smoother trade flows between Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.

In addition, the agreement puts strong emphasis on **electronic documentation**, advanced digital integration, and aligning regulatory regimes—critical factors in eliminating bottlenecks in cross-border trade. This forward-looking approach will enhance efficiency, attract strategic investments, and fortify long-term supply chains. As bilateral trade between the UAE and EEU countries reached nearly **$30 billion in 2024**, marking a 27% increase from the previous year, the timing for this initiative could not be more perfect.

Expanding Horizons in Kazakhstan and Beyond

The cooperation isn’t just about vision—it is grounded in tangible projects. AD Ports Group is already making waves in **Kazakhstan and Central Asia**, developing logistics hubs along the ‘Middle Corridor’ trade route that connects China to Europe. This corridor bypasses congested traditional routes, offering faster, more flexible connectivity for regional partners.

Notably, AD Ports Group’s joint venture **GulfLink**, with Kazakhstan Railways, is driving multimodal connectivity and accelerating digital transformation across the region. The partnership with **KazMorTransFlot** further strengthens maritime operations, enabling the transport of Kazakh oil across the Caspian Sea to Azerbaijan, where it flows into western pipeline networks. Together, these projects highlight how the UAE’s leadership in logistics extends far beyond borders, serving as a vital bridge between continents.

The alliance between AD Ports Group and the EEC is not just a business deal—it’s a commitment to reshaping the infrastructure of trade in the 21st century. Leveraging expertise in terminal operations, advanced digital solutions, and sustainable maritime initiatives, this partnership underscores the UAE’s growing role as a global trade powerhouse.
