ADNOC just deployed Taurob’s heavy-duty inspector robot at its Taweelah Gas Compression Plant in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This tough machine now conducts routine inspections in hazardous spots without risking human lives.
Engineers rely on it as the first set of eyes on the ground. Moreover, the robot spots gas leaks, hotspots, and dangers fast using 3D LiDAR and 360-degree thermal cameras.
Next-Level Operator Robots Incoming
ADNOC plans to co-develop the industry’s first heavy-duty operator robot under the ARGOS project. This beast will lift equipment, turn valves, and operate gauges autonomously or remotely.
It handles extreme temperatures from –20°C to 60°C. Consequently, teams stay safe while boosting efficiency and cutting emissions across operations.
