Feathers of Change: How Tanmiah is Leading Saudi Arabia’s Green Poultry Revolution

A Landmark Moment in Riyadh’s Sustainability Story

In the bustling heart of **RIYADH, Saudi Arabia**, a transformative story has begun to unfold. **Tanmiah Food Company**, one of the Kingdom's leading vertically integrated poultry and food producers, has taken a bold step toward shaping a sustainable future. By signing three ground-breaking Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with **Schneider Electric**, **Strataphy**, and **Kayes Arabia**, Tanmiah is fast-tracking its decarbonization journey while enhancing energy efficiency across its operations.
The signing ceremony, held during the First Annual Saudi Agri-Food Tech Alliance (SAFTA) Forum at the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture (MEWA) headquarters, set an inspiring tone for the Kingdom’s agricultural future. Under the patronage of His Excellency Mansour Almushaiti, Vice Minister of MEWA, the event gathered top industry leaders, policy makers, and innovators. Dr. Abdulaziz Al Malik, Deputy Minister for Research & Innovation, emphasized the importance of merging scientific breakthroughs with actionable initiatives. As presentations unfolded, Tanmiah’s Chief Strategy Officer, Mr. Abbas Khan, showcased innovative solutions—including IoT-driven farming logistics, AI-powered optimization, and locally grown alternative feed—capturing the audience’s imagination.

Technology and Tradition Converge

The partnerships are more than ceremonial—they represent tangible action steps toward Saudi Arabia’s **Vision 2030** sustainability objectives. With **Schneider Electric**, Tanmiah will create a comprehensive carbon inventory, set measurable emission-reduction targets, and follow the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) with FLAG guidance. This approach ensures supply chain decarbonization through supplier engagement and training. Transitioning from vision to reality, the collaboration with **Strataphy** introduces geothermal cooling systems at Tanmiah’s Shaqrah Facility, making history as the region’s first geothermal-cooled poultry operation under the Cooling as a Service (CaaS) model.

Meanwhile, the MoU with **Kayes Arabia** tackles one of agriculture’s long-standing challenges—energy efficiency. By converting diesel-powered equipment at farms and processing plants to LPG systems, Tanmiah is not only lowering emissions but also cutting operational costs. CEO Zulfiqar Hamadani summed it up perfectly: technology, innovation, and strategic partnerships are bridging ambition with measurable impact. This is sustainability with substance.

Building Saudi Arabia’s Green Legacy

Every step forward in Tanmiah’s journey is a step toward redefining food production—cleaner, smarter, and adaptable to future challenges. By blending advanced technologies with eco-conscious leadership, the company is charting a path for others in the sector. Riyadh isn’t just witnessing a corporate milestone; it’s experiencing the rise of a model for environmental transformation, with Tanmiah at its helm.

The future of food in Saudi Arabia looks promising, and the feathers of change have already been ruffled. From farm to fork, Tanmiah’s initiatives carry the potential to inspire a new wave of climate-responsible agribusiness, proving that sustainability can be deliciously successful.

Time Travel in the Desert: Inside Abu Dhabi's Jaw-Dropping Natural History Museum

A New Star in the Saadiyat Cultural District

In the heart of **ABU DHABI, UAE**, a new cultural gem has officially arrived — the **Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi**. As the latest crown jewel of the Saadiyat Cultural District, the museum marked its much-anticipated grand opening with an exclusive VIP preview on Thursday evening. The air buzzed with excitement as global talent, cultural leaders, and distinguished guests gathered for a first look at the region’s newest landmark.
What made the evening even more glamorous was the presence of Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, who explored the grand halls with wide-eyed fascination. They walked among exhibits that transported them millions of years into the past, standing face-to-face with “Stan,” a 67-million-year-old fossilized T. rex that is considered one of the best-preserved examples ever found. The level of detail, from bone texture to the sheer size, was breathtaking.
A Journey Through Time and Wonder

Stepping inside the museum feels like stepping into another world. The galleries take visitors back millions of years, revealing a thriving ancient Arabian landscape — a green, savannah-like home to now-extinct animals, including the magnificent four-tusked elephant. Transitioning from desert modernity to prehistoric richness is seamless; the curators expertly weave storytelling into every exhibit.

One of the most jaw-dropping features is the **world’s first** display of a sauropod dinosaur herd, majestically standing in the atrium as if frozen mid-stride. Deeper inside, awe turns into pure wonder when visitors encounter another global first — two Tyrannosaurus rexes locked in a fierce battle over a Triceratops carcass. This dynamic scene is more than a fossil arrangement; it’s a dramatic retelling of an ancient predator-prey rivalry, captured in stone.

Cultural Brilliance Beyond Borders

The **Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi** is not just a museum; it’s part of a movement. Alongside iconic neighbors like the **Louvre Abu Dhabi** and **Guggenheim Abu Dhabi**, it cements Saadiyat Cultural District’s reputation as a haven for creativity and cross-disciplinary exchange. Here, science meets art and heritage, inspiring future generations to dream bigger and think deeper.

From celebrities like Steve Harvey and Adam Savage to cultural icons such as Afef Jnifen, opening night proved the museum’s appeal to a global community. It’s a place where stories from the Earth’s timeline resonate with modern minds, igniting conversations, curiosity, and admiration.
