A Big Step Toward Energy Growth
MERA Oil is making headlines with its exciting US$5 billion energy project. MWG Enterprises, Patel Family Office, and PWS have joined forces to create a US-Saudi consortium with a bold vision. After three years of research, the team has narrowed its search to three GCC locations outside the Strait of Hormuz. Soon, the final host is expected to be chosen by the end of 2026.
This project will feature a 200,000-barrel-per-day integrated refinery, deepwater port facilities, storage, and export infrastructure. As a result, it aims to strengthen energy security and global trade.
Creating Lasting Opportunities
Moreover, the development is about much more than refining oil. It will encourage manufacturing, logistics, workforce training, and local business growth. The project could support up to 3,000 direct jobs and 15,000 indirect employment opportunities while promoting long-term industrial development.
Meanwhile, the consortium is advancing engineering studies and financing plans. With sustainable aviation fuel and carbon-management options under review, MERA Oil is building a future-ready energy platform designed to benefit the Gulf region for decades.
