Home Sweet Workplace: How SAR 1 Billion Is Rebuilding Worker Housing

**RIYADH, Saudi Arabia** – Mnzil, Saudi Arabia's first and leading tech-enabled workforce housing platform, The Development Group (TDG) and Capital Partners have launched a SAR 1 billion real estate fund. It will build purpose-built compounds for up to 50,000 workers.

Here's the headline: Mnzil will serve as strategic partner and exclusive operator. Meanwhile, TDG leads site selection and development, and Capital Partners manages the fund.

Why now? Vision 2030 is fueling growth in construction, logistics, industry and tourism. Consequently, demand for quality accommodation keeps climbing.

Furnished rooms, sports facilities, communal areas and open spaces will shape each compound. Additionally, on-site maintenance and administration will support daily life.

Development begins in Q4 2026, targeting Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Khobar, Makkah and Madinah. Therefore, workers will live closer to their jobs and spend less time commuting.

Mnzil CEO Majeed Albabtain says workers' living conditions have not received the attention they deserve. Likewise, TDG CEO Talal Raqaban calls workforce accommodation essential infrastructure.

Capital Partners' Saud Al Rajhi sees a chance to make workforce housing an institutional asset class. His team will use built-to-suit leases to secure contracted rental income.

Mnzil already houses over 30,000 workers for 250-plus clients across 30-plus cities, including Amazon, Noon and Nestlé. Founders Fund backs the company, marking its first Saudi investment.

Ultimately, this fund aims to give workers better places to rest, connect and feel at home.

Skip the Stopovers: How T7-AFZ Turns Dubai Into a Launchpad for the World

What if a private jet could carry you from Dubai to the world's major cities without a single stop? T7-AFZ, Falcon Luxe's 2020 Bombardier Global 7500, does exactly that.

Falcon Luxe, part of Alex Group Investment, offers private jet charter for business and leisure travel. Moreover, T7-AFZ plays a starring role in its long-range fleet.

This jet seats up to 18 passengers and flies up to 7,000 nautical miles. In addition, it stays airborne for up to 16 hours. That's serious long-distance muscle.

From the UAE, travellers can reach Europe, Asia, North America and Australasia, depending on routing, weather and operating conditions.

However, range is only half the story. The Global 7500 cabin gives passengers room to work, dine, relax and rest during long flights.

Business travellers, families and groups therefore make better use of their time in the air instead of simply getting through the journey.

Sultan Rashit Shene, Founder & Chairman of Alex Group Investment, says T7-AFZ lets clients "travel further, in comfort and with complete flexibility."

Ready to go? T7-AFZ is available for private jet charter from the UAE to destinations worldwide, so your next journey starts wherever you choose.

Twist and Shout: How XCMG Is Helping Egypt Spin Up a Skyscraper

**CAIRO** – XCMG is supporting construction of Capital Diamond Tower in the Central Business District of Egypt's New Administrative Capital. At roughly 234 meters, it's set to become Africa's tallest twisting mixed-use high-rise.

Picture a skyscraper that rotates at a fixed angle on every floor. That's Capital Diamond Tower. Its silhouette is gradually taking shape as construction advances.

However, this design isn't easy to build. Each floor's offset forces crews to recalculate lifting plans, layouts, transport routes, and anchorage points.

To tackle these challenges, XCMG deployed an integrated "one crane, one hoist" solution. The XGT6515B-10S1 flat-top tower crane uses an internal climbing system and handles heavy lifting of core structural components.

Meanwhile, the SC200/200MS1 construction hoist moves personnel and materials vertically. It reaches 63m/min and will stand 230 meters tall upon final installation.

As floors climb higher, demand for vertical transport keeps growing. Fortunately, the equipment meets the site's needs, according to the project manager. In addition, XCMG's service team provides continuous on-site support throughout construction.

Looking ahead, lessons from this project will inform XCMG's solutions for other complex high-rise builds. Clearly, the twist is only the beginning.
